ORDER ENTRY POSITION
Description:
• Checking content and completeness of orders
• Contacting the customers for correction
• Processing orders in the ERP system (PeopleSoft)
• Checking, scheduling and acknowledging orders in the ERP system
• Maintaining contacts with internal customers, Logistics, Credit and internal Polycom departments in the areas of orders, inventory, return, invoices, complaints etc...
• Creating and updating reports used within the department
• Resolving order issues with the customer and Sales
• Ad hoc duties as required
• Ensuring that the orders processed in PeopleSoft are reflecting customer po’s
• Maintaining customer information in the ERP system
• Undertake process work and assignments as requested
Experience:
• Two years order management experience required
• Fluent spoken and written English required
• 2 years or more of College/Technical education required
• Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish,) would be desirable
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Assertive, with good influencing skills
• Ability to cope with stress
• Teamwork
• Respects and achieves deadlines
• Results oriented
• PC skills (MS-Office) |
